Plus, I'm extra sentimental this month because Ariana has officially outgrown my favorite stage of Baby. She's no longer my little cuddlebug who just sits and stares and plays with one toy forever. No, sir. This girl is a moving, rolling, crawling, almost-walking machine. She's more toddler than she is baby at this point and every time I look at her she looks bigger and bigger to me. It's exciting and sad all at once.
Weight: Again, I don't know. Maybe 20lbs. Her 9-mo appointment is tomorrow.
Hair: Her bangs are so long that we don't wear headbands as much as we used to. Now, this mama is all about the clippies! I love swiping her sweet bangs back, she looks adorable in some new sparkly clips I just got her! :)
Eyes: Still a caramely brown color.
Diapers: Size 4s
Clothes: Still swimming a bit in 9 month sleepers, so she mostly wears 6month. All tops and pants are now 9month or 6 - 12.
Eating: Still loving food and she's opened up her palate quite a bit this month! Banana pancakes, bread, she LOVES puffs, yogurt, spinach, oranges, pineapples, and mangos were some new things we tried this month. Once the doc gives the go-ahead we're going to be trying fish and chicken and lots of fun stuff like hummus, cheese and eggs! :)
Sleeping: Her sleeping has been awful lately. Not sure if it's a growth spurt or teething but she's been quite restless. And the past few nights, both kiddos have had this awful cough that has been waking them up so needless to say, no one has been sleeping much around here lately. GRUMPY MAMA ALERT.
Milestones:
Crawling is old news, and walking is the new thing. This girl cruises on every piece of furniture in our house and walks LIKE A PRO holding onto the alligator walker or our LeapFrog play table. She can't be bothered sitting down anymore and doesn't like any of her bouncers or jumpers... she's got a big brother to keep up with! But really, it's scary folks. She's going to be walking in her 10th month, for sure... and this Mama is not ready.
She's learned the signs for "milk" and "more" which come in handy when she's hungry!
She claps ALL THE TIME. She loves to clap and whenever I'm doing school with Ky and I praise him and start clapping, she joins right in.
She's making all sorts of sounds (ma, ba, ga), and chatters non-stop... but hasn't really said anything yet. She's always talking or singing to herself... always. All the time. But it's jibberish for the most part. She says, "maa maaa maaa" but I don't know if she knows she's saying "Mama" or if she's just blabbing away.
She loves being outside, and is always standing by the window looking outside. Her second favorite place is the landing of our staircase... she loves climbing up it and can scale the stairs on her own now so gone are the days where I could run to the bathroom for a quick sec if she was just sitting on the floor. She loves our pup and lovessss her brother... is constantly his little tail, following him around, laughing at him, and trying to grab whatever toy he is playing with. She lights up when Hubs comes home from work (melts my heart), and is starting to get stranger anxiety... doesn't go to very many people like she used to, now it's mostly just us and my parents. She's a good girl though and is always so smiley and happy!
can you tell by her wittle red nosey that my baby has a cold?? :(

She is so darling! I noticed you talk about giving her foods that are more solid. Did you ever feed her purees or have you taken more of a baby led weaning approach. We are headed into solids in a few months and I'm trying to research on the two options, both seem like they have their pros/cons.
Oh heavens. I know I say it every month. But you have the most perfect babies of all time. So adorable.
And I must know...where are some of your favorite places to get sparkly clippies???

She is so cute and I can't believe she is 9 months! I also do not know how you keep up with the two of them, you are amazing! Sounds like she is at such a fun stage and...our girl has loved hummus since the day she tried it! LoL, food is fun!
